HOORAY!
HOORAY!
It's one year and a day since I registered and started posting here!
I figured that we should somehow celebrate this and thus have started playing
akumajou special: boku dracula kun
in your honour!
Have a happy anniversary, my friends!
Yours,
Des

Here's an anniversary stat for you (just because I do this sort of thing in the real world for a living). You were the 238th person to join this august group, and are now holding the #7 spot for most total posts. You have had a busy first year! Happy anniversary, Raphael / 'Daisy' !
I only wish I had retired sooner!

Thank you, Jim!
Though I still fear that even so, the mighty Eight won't let me take that pink bat as my avatar...
It has been a great year over here, although we saw the cancellation of the line... But don't worry, Ravenloftlers, for you got
ME
instead!

But why?
I think it gives a look into my personality that my current avatar doesn't...
At least my girlfriend says so...
I would have thought of this one as well, but really that fits more for a Ctulhu board...
Oh, actually, that is the avatar I installed for Canonfire months ago...

Here! Here!
David knows the good stuff!
I am no particular fan of Castlevania, but a 100% gamer, and since I tend to seek as much humour as horror in my games,
I sometimes stumble over REALLY weird things...

Just so you know, I am rooting for you and the pink bat!
I don't know what icon I would like to have... but I think I want one too!

I can't help... Everytime I look at that avatar, I have to grin...
But really, I think the FoS policy of controlling avatars is not too bad... *Thinks of the couple other silly icons he has tried so far - not ONE fitting for a horror board*

I think it's a good policy too. I've been on boards where some jerk will get an avatar so big it puts a scrollbar across the bottom of the page, which you have to scroll just to see the message. So, controlling avatar size = very nice. Controlling the pictures keeps em appropriate and prevents people putting inappropriate or offensive stuff as their avatar.
Not that any of us would, of course.

Actually, we weren't concerned about offensive things and scrolling as much as we were tired of looking Dion's ugly mug.
That and the long load times...
