Search for Knowledge
How do you handle Searching for Knowledge in books? Iirc the RLCS has one rule, HoL another. Also doesn't this almost make Knowledge skills obsolete?

Well, it would, assumed the charachter can always access a library.
But it can't be.
I assume any library can grant a charachter the chance to take 10 or 20 in a single Knowledge check (provided he HAS ranks in that particular knowledge), and maybe a +2 bonus, but only while searching about "mundane" knowldge.
For Arcana, you have to find the proper library, get access (not all of the university of the Core grant every adventurer access to arcane tomes...).
Of course, taking 20 requires at least a day of research.
