Ravenloft Downloads - with specifics to Bleak House

Post by The Wannabe »

Bon jour mes amis.....on the off chance that I am remembered, it has been a long time, no? And yet, for a brief time The Wannabe finds himself drifting back thru the Ethereal towards a little cloud of darkness.....curiosity is such a burden.....

Does anyone happen to have a list of websites where one can buy Ravenloft downloads? I have two thus far, which cover nearly every 2nd and 3rd edition product, but horror of horrors, the Bleak House box set is not among those available. I can quite do without A Light in A Belfry, and as far as I can tell those are the only two not currently out there.

So.....any ideas for an oldtimer who may or may not be returning to his little domain? Ugh.....look at all the cobwebs.....I have GOT to hire a maid.....

Doesn't DriveThru do the Ravenloft books?

They do the 3rd ed, but I didn't see any 2nd, unless they were cleverly disguised as Spelljammer :D

Paizo.com has most of the WotC downloads now, but I don't see Bleak House in their Ravenloft selections. I seem to recall that SV Games put out a call several years ago for someone to sacrifice their boxed set for a scan & that person could get a free download of it. They must not have had any offers.

Heehee, I had to learn that the hard way too.

Go back and re-read the Forum rules, Spiteful; the wording for rule #3 didn't seem to apply when I'd read it before getting smacked for that same offense, though it made sense afterwards. I'd appreciate seeing if you get that same feeling. If so, we might want to request a re-wording of Rule #3 so that it's more obvious that the above topics are a no-no.

Rules (over in "Rules and Trouble Shooting" forum)

I know not who I am
And I await the crimson fires
That'll wash this world away!

Ummmmm....yea. Just so that things are clear, I am NOT repeat NOT asking for access to illegal copies or anything remotely similar. I remember what happened on the Kargatane message board the last time that came up. Oy, I still have bloodstains in my trainers.....

*shudders*

Yea, so, if there's a freeware (or whatever its called) out there of Bleak House, awesome. If not, that's cool, I just don't want to have a huge gaping hole in my collections if and when I start traveling down this road again.

Cheerio,

VR's Guide to the Mists features some additional details... IIRC, the file should still be downloadable for free over at White Wolf's page. (Sorry, no exact link at hand.) :)
