DS, may Anders still go over to the lifeboat to check the situation there?

As you wish. Don't forget what I posted in reponse to your questions about Anders on the UB thread:
So unless Anders called him back, Cal is already at the lifeboat. OTOH, Anders is free to go look at things for himself. He's your PC, after all!OOC: I had Cal arrive at the lifeboat on page 5 of this thread, toward the bottom. He can relay messages back and forth for Anders while Anders and Sariel are going through the stolen books and whatnot.
I gave them an hour and a half to get the results posted on the Overlook. If you'd like to keep searching, go ahead, but Anders is also in demand as a potential defender of the Smiling Serpent against the ghost Harrin. Perhaps he'll ask Ciera to take a turn searching through the books.

*poof* Once character sheet (ok, well, more like two and a half) as requested. That's what we had on the old board, plus a +14 to Ride.

I'm not sure what's got you mixed up, but I'll address the surface questions:
1) Toby and Anders are allies, not close friends. They've just met, and may have been working together to prepare the Smiling Serpent against Harrin.
2) There's nothing here that would warrant kicking Toby's butt.
Also, Anders might want to consider the following:
* Word should have reached him via Ciera's whispers that the crew of the ship are dominated by Harrin. Wiping them out wholesale might not be the best way to handle them.
* Harrin has not actually possessed Sariel, but the dragon is under his control, and will probably attack you.

Well, then Anders will slay only those crew members that seem to immediately harm his friends and otherwise concentrate his magical fires on Harrin... Not that it wouldn't be a problem for him to kill possibly innocent people, but he won't let them injure his friends by any means.

Are you thinking of Ashkar, Rafael? Ashkar was the vampire who Anders had a big fight with a while back. Toby's just, y'know, this guy.

Specifically, this guy who has made it his life's mission to send Harrin where he belongs. Single-minded, yes. Evil, no.MatthiasStormcrow wrote:Toby's just, y'know, this guy.
Come to think of it, I may have outdone myself with Harrin. He's Nathan's least popular person in Saragoss (I take it the Keeper is running a close second?), but Shadross told Arbund, "when the time comes, Harrin's mine," and it looks like he's pretty high on Cortez's to-do list...could it be this one measly little NPC has captivated the collective wrath of our heroes?
Well, three PC's and two NPC's, at any rate. I better see to it that Harrin's killed off soon, so the big boys can come out and play.

Yes, the Keeper is second. Rather a distant second at present, as it's been a few months, real time, since he last cheesed me off.DeepShadow wrote: Come to think of it, I may have outdone myself with Harrin. I hope I am not behaving to nerdy here - I mean, playing a psion for the first time and then entering a long running campaign in full action is proving more difficult than I expected...
Though I am not going to give up unless you tell me to. Now, let's go and kick little Harrin's ectoplasma butt!

So I can see this going generally one of three ways, wrt Peregrine's falling asleep:
A) The sword has been staving off Peregrine's need to sleep since he's had it. Ergo, Peregrine should immediately start making massive saves to avoid falling asleep to catch up.
B) The sword has been replacing Peregrine's need for sleep as needed. Ergo, Peregrine will begin feeling sleepy at the normal time, and if he resists sleep he has to make in creasing saves at the normal times.
C) The sword keeps Peregrine's sleep-wake cycle set at "0." Ergo, Peregrine now has a full 16 hours of wakefulness before he starts to feel sleepy, and thereafter make increasing saves for resisting as needed.
