He doesn't look like the same guy, actually. There is a resemblance, and they could even be cousins or something, but it isn't the same man.
-That presumes you move a little closer and get a look at his face, naturally. He must be aware of your presence by now, unless he's stone deaf [what with Norzak shouting, and all].

I rolled a quick combat between you and the fleeing gunner. It was pretty lopsided [you hit twice for a total of 19 dmg, he tried to stab you but missed/hit armor and couldn't punch through]. Chopping of his head was a coup de grace, basically.
