Taryln, is Norzak going to open those chests? If so, he'll either need to open the locks [Open Locks DC 15], remove the hinges [Disable Device DC 15], or else just smash them [Strength check DC 20 ---they are dry rotted , but the wood was strong to begin with, so it might take a few minutes to kick them to splinters, which might damage whatever's inside....].

Yes I'm at work so here are the rolls along with a spell he cast.

Quick Boost +2 to Dex. Then he passes both Open Lock and Disable Device with 16 & 22 respectively!

Adam, the detect magic spell reveals no magical items in any of the chests.

Sorry for not updating. I've been very busy with summer clasess ending [some of them, anyway]. So...

Yeah, the robes and masks should fit well enough to make a decent dsiguise. Robes will be a bit long on Norzak, perhaps, but it should serve.

Did an update for the IC thread. Now I need actions. You guys may have a couple of rounds before the strangers reach the storage room with the chests. Are you hiding, running away, rsuhing out to attack, announcing your presence, laying in ambush,c asting spells, disguising yourselves , doing something else entirely??? Let me know, and I'll go from there.

Hope that is okay for you, Tarlyn and Adam!

From what I understand, the main difference at least D&D demands from a "Knight" character is to face his enemies openly, and that ambush tactics are basically forbidden to him, unless one wants to risk a alignment penalty.

MAybe I should have asked that before: Ewan, how do you handle that?
