Parkour is cool. Who cares if it's anarchronistic? Ravenloft is definitely not Earth, so you shouldn't feel bound by Earth's history.
Delight is to him- a far, far upward, and inward delight- who against the proud gods and commodores of this earth, ever stands forth his own inexorable self.
Not to mention it is hardly the first, nor the most egregious anachronism in Ravenloft.
On a side note, I'd say that this argues against Frederik being some kind of Monk, and more towards.... hrm.... scout?

The pacing of the story is fine for me to read. I've seen some people try to quantify it down to do X Y Z in every panel, or accomplish XYZ in a segment, but however you choose to write and draw it is ultimately up to you.
Most of it boils down to I guess 3 things for every installment.
*Plot advancement (in some way)
*Character or inter-character development
*Revealing/explaining the past
For example in your most recent panel you have Fred leaving (Plot advancement), Santine's name (Character development), and Fred's 'parkour' (explaining the past).
Of course theres obviously a lot more to it than that, but I find pacing works out on its own as long as you try and stick to a generic pattern.

So now that everyone has commented that the pacing is fine, you should know that the pacing is going to get all wonky for a while - much like how movies that overuse cgi inevitably suck, my attempts to punch up the individual panels left some issues with the layout as a whole. Please stand by...

And yeah, glowing purple eyes is almost never a good thing.

I was originally thinking feytouched/fey origins [or a monstrous humanoid] but I couldnt come up with the explanation for purple eyes. He looks rather feral in that last frame.

Well, as I recall purple is a natural, albeit rare, eye color (and I think it actually shows up in the appearance tables periodically).
So I think the emphasis here is more "Glowing eyes" than "Glowing purple eyes", since we don't know if Fred would have differently glowing eyes if he happened to have a different eye color.
That said, I stand by my "Something really, really freaky is going on" comment.

His eyes in the color pic from this thread's first post are quite dark, but there seems to be a hint of deep violet to them. Certainly, his eyes aren't anywhere near that bright of a shade, in the portrait.
