Okay, updated.
Listen y'all, I've got classes all day, every day [except weekends] through August. I won't be updating quite as often as I used to, perhaps. I will still make an effort to do so at least a couple of times a week.
Oh, should we assume Norzak is whispering to his companions to relay what he overhears?

Closed & locked. Open locks DC 25. To remove hinges [doors open inward], DC 20. Doors may fall if hinges are removed- unless you are very careful, and it will take a bit longer than just picking the lock.

I'm trying to use the Archivist Dark Knowledge ability to give us a combat advantage against him, Ewan. Let me know which Knowledge skill I need to roll. Or if you don't want to let the cat out of the bag, they're all around +10 I beleive so you could just roll it for me and let me know the result.

Benn recognizes that Pierre Renault- if that is his real name- has been brought back from the grave as a type of life-hating undead- a druagr, as the dwarves of Darkon call it. The draugr perfers to attack its victims with it's bare hands, which are iron-hard and colder than ice. His merest touch can steal a man's power and vitality- even his life. Indeed, those slain by the druagr will themselves rise from the dead as druagr- bound to the service of their slayer.
A druagr may be dealt with by the complete destruction of his physical form. The creatures ordinarilly feel no pain, and are very tough.
It is possible for druagr's evil spirit to leap from one body to another, according to some tales. This requires the use of certain necromantic rites. In fact, it is often the work of black magic that raises the druagr in the first place- although some arise spontaneously, or when their graves are disturbed by the living.
Benn gets his archivist bonus, and may extend this bonus to his allies, as per the rules from HoH [ please post relevant notes here, Adam].
If Benn calls out to alert his friends that what they face is in fact a druagr- then Norzak will probably recognize the name as a frightening figure of legend.
