Raf, I believe the ball is in Cirdan's court.

I've assumed Cirdan acts according to plan.

Alain is standing, partly concealed, between a couple of shacks at the edge of the plaza, within 60 feet of the stanger.

Norzak and Dorgio are in an alley on the other side of the plaza. They are together, yes?

Cirdan is walking out into the middle of the plaza, to the gallows where the stranger stands waiting.

Hey, sorry for the delay - remember that we live in different time zones.

I read some part of this yesterday already, but it was like 3 AM and I was considerably sleepy... :)

Ah, yes, the time zones make a huge difference, I know!

I have assumed Cirdan will walk out of the alley, according to plan. I can edit that , if you want him to do otherwise, of course! :D

Oh, in other news:

I've managed to ressurect my dormant tabletop game. We played tonight. One player couldn't make it, so I ran his PC as an NPC.

SPOILER ALERT: QUEST FOR THE SILVER SWORD

I ran a modified version of a published module: The Quest for the Silver Sword. Great little adventure: this one includes an evil wererat king and his hideous ratling minions, a town under the curse of a never ending winter, missing elves, and a magical silver sword that posesses the power to freeze both water and living foes. The party investigated, battled, and overcame the monsers. The silver sword was found, the rat-king was slain, and the missing elves were rescued. The unnatural winter weather was brought to an end, and the town was saved from abandonment and ruin.

:) No prob, sounds logical to me. The knight, with this head of his, he won't back down at anything, though maybe Norzak and the others are slowly making him learn some reasoning...

Yeah! Thunderrift adventures! :) My Blackmoor pals would rejoice! :)

I for my part am only looking to DM a Thieves World adventure in the forseeable future. - Nice stuff, from Green Ronin. Pick it up if you find it cheap. :)

Yep, that's the cover. I really like this module. With just a bit of tinkering it worked very well. I altered the intro to fit in better with my ongoing game, added a few details that made sense [ice cutting/selling had become a cottage industry and were the main reason why the town hadn't died out in two years of winter] and did NOT have the villain make a Mr Bond speech revealing his evil plans [in the module, this exposition comes at the end, but I set it up so the players would have to figure it out for themsleves, with just a few clues].

Skybolt is a big Thieves World fan. He's got the Green Ronin books, in fact.

Yeah, sure. The man is talking to Cirdan. He's looking over at Alain from time to time, but that only seems to be distracting him from other possibilities....... [which may have been Alain's intent ,eh?]

That certainly is Alain intent, so if distracted he won't up to any more than just meeting a rep from us .

What you gotta do is to de-bone the finger, stuff the finger with crayfish meat, then stuff the stuffed finger into the frog. It's like a turducken! Or a toadfingfish, if you will.

Okay, good cop, bad cop time!
