The PCs have been up for quite a while now, with little rest. They've fought, swam,. rowed, hunted, searched, etc for hours. At some point, you'll all need to get some sleep, a hot meal, maybe a bath [except for disgusting Norzak, possibly]. It's the wee hours of the morning now [meaning it's still dark, but past midnight].

K Norzak left the Doc's place to follow Cirdan. HE didn't care much for the dead dude.

Okay, Norzak has no diplomacy whatsoever, but is sincere in his attempt to befriend the old man. This will either work or backfire! Hopefully the old coot likes gold and wine

Well, he likes coin and drink, that much is evident.

Yeah but I think if Norzak wants him to be a regular source of information, he'll keep an eye out for the old man and will treat him and Mathilde to a nice meal the next time they meet up. I'm sure ALain and Jon didn't just arrive at having contacts just like that

They had to work at it. That's what Norzak is trying to do at his favorite drinking hole and with this old man

Makes sense. Just beacuse he doesn't seem to know much now, doesn't mean he won't be useful later.

There's no obvious sign of any arcane ritual having been performed, or of anything unusual about the corpse. It appears to be an ordinary cadaver. The man was hanged. He was not much older than Jon, you'd guess. Decay has only recently begun to set in, so the corpse cannot be more than a couple of days old- there's no sign of it being embalmed or refrigerated in any fashion. There's no evdence of any religious ritual having been performed to lay the dead youth to rest [no sacred oil smeared on him, no flowers placed in the casket, no coins on the eyes,etc].

So...Alain will be conducting a more in-depth investigaion of the Doctor after he goes home for a rest. Who else is going back to get sleep, food,etc [keep in mind all of the PCs will need rest soon]? How long will you all hang around the Doctor's shop/appartment?

If Jon comes with Alain to his house, he will note that the house does not have a lot furniture, but seems to have plenty of various clothing and equipment for whatever adventurous endeavors . He will note the place is extremely spartan place to live it seems . Alain will give Jon a bedroll to sleep on .

I'm giving the house a thorough search. It seems a bit stupid to come all this way, take a peek in through the door and then leave. Doubt there will be anything to find, though.
