15% only ? Seems low to me.

Anyway, you can look at the Mordent Carto Society website to have a good idea at what you can do on our fan side.

Yeah, but it's a map for ancient Mordentshire, back when Strahd and Az first visited a few hundred years ago. It's a good start, but could use an update.

I did just that for my Mordentshire Miser adventure:

The direct link to my updated map is here:

It probably could use even more updating, since the map still seems a bit sparse compared to the bustling feeling Mordenshire seems to have in the books.

1" = 2.54cm
1m = 3'3" (and a tiny fraction)
1.629Km = 1 mile

Remember, the 1,600 metres running event is not quite a mile ;)

I was taught how to convert to and from farenheit and celcius some years ago, but I forgot the method. It is something like divide by 5, multiply by 9 and add 32, or something like that when changing to farenheit, you kist reverse it for changing to celcius. Actually, I think that is it, I just tried some things and it seemed to work :)

For once my poor excuse for a brain managed to recall something accurately :)

Not quite, it is called Artistic Licencing and still remains property of the original artist unless they give you permission to claim ownership of your reworking. This is the same copyright law that allows music artists to retain ownership of their songs when they have been covered by another artist.band.

Ultramyth wrote:The scale was left in from the old map, but because I don't have the original, I really don't know how big 500 feet is on it (I can't measure it in inches).
The original map from the Black Box was approximately 8.5 inches by 9.5 inches, so it would be 4250 feet by 4750 feet, or about 1300 meters by 1450 meters, if I've done the math right. Of course, that was pre-Grand Conjunction, so the city could be very different in size now. :wink:

You have a new city map for me, don't you? :Ivana:

Seriously, that map was amazing!

Any chance that you would do another one?

I don't know who taught you either the imperial or the metric system, but I assure you, 1.5 metres is the closest approximation to 5 feet you're going to find.

500'/5 = 100, 100x1.524 = 152.4 m or roughly, for game purposes, 150 metres.

Edit: Removed remark when I saw the corectional post. I'll leave the hard data in there though for future reference.
I'm sorry to point this, but you mean
1.5m
and not 150m.

5ft is the width of a grid square in a battle map.
