That. I have no attachment whatsoever to the characters I play; I am too spoiled by Call of Cthulhu already. I just try to play out new concepts; Cirdan = black knight; Dofur = paladin. - Cirdan's death was in the spectrum of what could happen, and I was perfectly alright with the outcome.

JMatyr still carries a torch for the lovely Aleena.

Bah. Morgan Ironwolf was so much hotter than Aleena.

ATTENTION ALL PLAYERS-

I have just done a scene-shift. It is now a few hours later and the party has arrived at the second campsite. NPCs have been encountered there.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Galandel will NOT understand the Elvish used by Franz. Some words will be familiar, but he won't understand more than a little bit of what Franz is saying.

He speaks Sithican (elvish), which is a very different language than the common Elvish tongue (the one spoken by Darkonese elves),

Galandel is able to make out a few of the Elven words spoken to him, just enough to know the Human has asked him a question of some sort. He decides the best course of action to take with this fellow is to speak in Mordentish it seems common enough in this area.

" Forgive me, but I fear I don't understand what it is you are asking me. Will translate what you just asked of me?" he asks of the big burly man.

Ah, I had thought that we discussed this and came to the conclusion that Franz learned Elvish from Darkonese elves. Just adjust your notes to make those elves Sithican elves. We must assume that Galandel has a very hard time understanding Franz horrible accent when speaking Sithican, I suppose. As the ranger gets used to Franz' weird speech, he may be able to understand him much better.

I think of Wat. At first, most of the party had a limited ability to understand him, but that difficulty has faded with time. Brossel, his native tongue, is similiar to Darkonese. It is also similiar to Alain's native tongue. In general communication, he used Mordentish, or rather a trader's pidgin with very heavy Mordentish influences. He's becoming progressively more fluent as he practices speaking with Alain.
