Transcendent
Creating a Transcendent
“Transcendent” is an acquired template that can be added to any creature (referred to hereafter as the base creature), provided it has been transformed by an Albenarl type device.
Size and Type: The base creature gains the incorporeal subtype. If the creature was undead, it loses the undead type (and undead templates) and consequently can no longer be turned or rebuked.
Challenge Rating: Same as the base creature +15.
Armor Class: The base creature loses all natural armor bonuses to AC and gains a deflection bonus to Armor Class equal to its Charisma modifier (if positive).
Speed: The base creature gains a fly speed of 200 ft (perfect maneuverability).
Abilities: Increase from the base creature as follows: Int +10, Wis +10, Cha +10.
Special Qualities: A transcendent has all the special qualities of the base creature, plus the following special qualities.
Mystic Transference (Su): Headbands, belts, rings, cloaks, and other wearable items kept in the creature’s possession transfer all their benefits to the transcendent. The standard limits on types of items utilized simultaneously still apply.
Enduring Focus (Su): The base creature cannot be permanently killed; it reforms in full health 1d4 days after its apparent death at a location of its choice. Only a wish or miracle spell for the purpose of destroying the transcendent cast before the transcendent reforms can permanently destroy the creature.
Immortality (Ex): The base creature becomes immortal and cannot die from natural causes. It no longer ages, neither does it need to eat, sleep, or breathe.
Telepathy (Su): The transcendent has telepathy 100ft.
Unfettered Traveler (Su): You have achieved mastery over the powers of transdimensional travel. You can transport great distances with a single thought (as greater teleport, self and personal equipment only). You can also transport other creatures, but if you do, there is a chance of error (as teleport). Activating this ability requires a standard action.
You can use plane shift with perfect accuracy (self and personal equipment only). You can also transport other creatures, but you then suffer the inaccuracies normally incurred when using this spell. Activating this ability requires a standard action.
Paragon Visionary (Su): You can see through illusions, magical darkness, shapechangers, and other effects (as true seeing). This is a supernatural ability.
You are automatically aware of all spells or magical effects you see. Simply by looking at a creature, you can determine if it is a divine or arcane caster, whether it has any spell-like abilities, and the highest spell or spell-like abilities it knows. This is a supernatural ability.
Shadow Lord (Sp): You can use material from the Plane of Shadows to create quasireal illusions, mimicking wizard conjuration (summoning) or conjuration (creation) spells of 8th level or lower (as shades). In addition, you can use greater shadow evocation to mimic sorcerer or wizard evocation spells of 7th level or lower. The illusions deal 100% damage to nonbelievers, and nondamaging effects are 100% likely to work against nonbelievers. Nonbelievers see the shadow conjurations/evocations as transparent images superimposed on vague, shadowy forms, but are still affected. Caster level is equal to character level. Activating this ability requires a standard action.
Telekinesis (Su): Through sheer force of will, the transcendent can move things with its mind. Your caster or manifester level for these effects is always equal to the transcendent’s character level. If these abilities imitate powers, the transcendent cannot augment them. Except where otherwise specified, these abilities work like spell-like abilities or psi-like abilities. All of the transcending’s telekinetic abilities via this ability are automatically Enlarged.
The Transcendent can:
*activate any of its telekinetic abilities as a swift or move action instead of a standard action, if applicable.
*maintain concentration on a number of simultaneous telekinetic abilities equal to its Charisma modifier.
*use matter agitation and mage hand effects at will
*use a levitate effect at will. The weight limit for this effect is 100 lb per rank in Concentration.
*use a telekinetic force effect at will. The weight limit for this effect is 50 lb per rank in Concentration.
*use a telekinetic thrust effect at will. The weight limit for the thrust effect is 50 lb per rank in Concentration.
*use a telekinetic maneuver effect at will.
*can telekinetically shape things to its desire. The transcendent can use a fabricate effect at will. If it lacks the appropriate Craft skill, it can use the Concentration skill to imitate any Craft skill for this effect at a -10 penalty on the check.
Immunities (Ex): Immune to poison, sleep, paralysis, stunning, disease, death effects, necromantic effects, cold, electricity, and polymorph effects.
Resistances (Ex): Transcendent have acid resistance 20, fire resistance 20 and sonic resistance 20. SR/PR is character level +12.
Skills: Transcendent receive a +20 racial bonus on Hide, Listen, Move Silently, Search, Sense Motive, and Spot checks.
