Although pats depictions of the Wereraven show them with their arms and hands bing the same as their wings, which I find more logical as they are werebeasts and grow feathers on their skin than growing new extremities. In 5e and in most miniatures I find they are depicted with a pair of arms separate from their wings resembling a kenku.
When transforming into one of the non-human forms, the being grew feathers from its skin, which slowly turned into large wings (allowing them to be proficient in aerial combat). In this process, the arms would move downwards to accommodate the wings, whilst the mouth transformed into a beak.
Which version do you prefer and if you prefer the first one why do you believe they keep showing them similar to kenku?
