HEROES: Saving the World One Cheerleader at a Time

Post by Dion of the Fraternity »

It isn't available (officially) in the Philippines yet, but I got a chance to catch up to the latest episode of NBC's "Heroes" last Good Friday (pirated DVD marathon) and MY GOD I'm absolutely impressed. The story arcs for each character are intriguing and very well convoluted. It's dark, gritty , and better than a lot of comic book storylines I've read in the present.

Anybody else watch this gem?

Yup, we've been watching and loving it. Can't wait for it to come back in a couple weeks.

It suffers a bit from stretching and filler, but overall it's really great.

I keep hearing great things about it... But I try not to watch too much TV...

I will try to get / rent it on DVD when it comes out, so I can watch it at my own leisure.

I wasn't sure about this... Thanks for convincing me!

If you have a good internet connection, you can watch all the episodes online at the official website (so it's not illegal or anything).

I've been wanting to see it, but it's up against shows I watch with my wife, "Dancing with the Stars" and "Bachelor: Officer & Gentleman". After that is Monday Night Raw. I'll have to give it a try online, as long as I can watch from the very first show. I don't suppose they strip out the commercials when they offer it for download? I hate watching 20 minutes of commercials in every 1 hour show, especially after seeing how few commercials there are on European TV comparitively when I was there during the last year.

Speaking of RAW, was Wrestlemania any good?

All of the episodes are online. They show one commercial at the start of every episode section, which is usually divided into about six parts. So, six commercials for the whole thing.

I'm too cheap to pay for PPV, I've only seen the clips for McMahon getting shaved bald & Trump receiving a Stone Cold Stunner.

Did anyone watch this new series tonight? I did and thought it was pretty interesting, if you compare to all the crap on tv nowadays, especially since it has Nathan Filion a.k.a Malcolm Reynolds in it!!!

P.S - I loved him in Buffy the few episodes he was in it
