Alienist Monthly

• Mentioned in the Chibiloft comics of Quoth the Raven Issue 30, Alienist Monthly is a periodical that shares news from the Alienism community. The magazine carries articles on the latest treatments and their application, as well as (relatively lighthearted) news about the leading figures in the field. While the magazine is considered a useful resource and a way of keeping in touch with peers to serious therapists, its subject matter makes it less than popular with the general public. Typically, the magazine is printed using the cheapest materials that will hold ink, and the producing staff are keen to have readers fill out subscriptions, rather than make incidental purchases.

• Given the need for the producing staff to constantly keep abreast of the field of alienism and its practitioners, not to mention the need for a printing press to produce Alienist Monthly and a postal service to deliver it to subscribers' places of residence, it is safe to assume that the magazine is produced in one or several domains with a relatively high cultural level. It is semi-confirmed that the magazine is produced in Madego, as Slap is known to collect issues - and presumably have a subscription - but it is not certain whether it is also printed in the actual Core.
