Amandara Viswan is one of the two most prominent elders of the village of Piriyaganj in Sri Raji. She represents the faction which supports stability over wealth; her opposition is Chandramauli Majumdar. She recognizes that her faction is losing ground, and she fears that it will be overrun entirely after she dies.[1]
Amandara is the daughter of Karnavati Viswan, who founded Piriyaganj.[1]
