Crimson Arcanus was a lich hunted by Dr. van Richten and resided in the Balinok Mountains in Barovia. In life he was a Falkovnian wizard named Antirius the Red. Crimson Arcanus is responsible for the death of Nadin, but van Richten and his companions eventually avenged Nadin's death by destroying the lich.[1]
