The Bhuta Jangal ("Ghost Jungle") is so called because of the pale color of its trees and the unnatural-looking twisting of their limbs. Despite its name, it is no more (and no less) haunted than any of the other jungles of Sri Raji.[1]
The Bhuta Jangal occupies eastern Sri Raji. It stretches from Muladi to the area northeast of Tvashtipur. The Lambee Sadak runs through it.[1]
