Bleak Mornings are Falkovnian days of mourning taking place on the anniversaries of the start of each one of the Dead Man's Campaigns- April 21, August 14, August 26, September 1, and October 6). Forbidden by Drakov from public display, the people of Falkovnia engage in private ceremonies of sermons and prayer their children will not be called to war. A number of songs and dirges have been written to commemorate these days, such as My Friends Are Dead But Still They Dance[1].
