Captain Anton Dusard

Captain Anton Dusard is a ghost and darklord of Locknar Cove. In life, he was the captain of The Grasping Claw, a ship he won through betrayal, extortion, and murder. Dusard was consumed by greed, a hunger for gold that caused him to betray his friends, his business partners, even his king. He eventually became an all-out renegade pirate and stayed that way until his crew began taking after his greed. They mutinied, and Dusard, rather than giving up his gold, killed them all by blowing up the ship with gunpowder. With his last breaths he vowed to hold onto his treasure, and with that he arose again as a ghost.

Captain Dusard dwells within his secret fortress in the Dismal Four. He is plagued by the ghosts of his former crewmen once a year as they come back to steal his treasure.

The sole survivor of the crewmen of the Grasping Claw is Bill Copperplate.
