Captain Hans Eckert's Sword

The magic sword owned by Captain Hans Eckert was entrusted to him for safe keeping by a dying necromancer thanks to mistaken identity. Its magical powers enabled him to become a conqueror on his homeworld, starting with the domination of his brother Wilm Eckert and the other members of Hans' mercenary company. Eckert's sword also allowed him to see in the dark like a wolf or cat, With every foe beaten or triump made, it seemed like Captain Eckert discovered a new power the sword had. Yet it failed entirely when he encountered Jezra Wagner. After she drained the life away from Eckert, his body shattered and so did the sword.
