Hailing mainly from the outlander land of Faerun, Banedead are a type of intelligent evil undead animated by zealous worshipers of Bane and similar deities. Banedeads attack with claw and bite, their claws afflicting Dexterity ability damage.[1][2]

Encountering Banedead in the Demiplane of Dread

Considering Hazlan's connecction to Thay, banedead might be encountered in Hazlan. In the Shadow Rift, banedead can be encountered in the Darkenheights as part of the saugh.[3]
