A blood amniote is an undead blob of partially-congealed blood that eternally seeks to add more to its mass by extracting it from the living. In game terms, this means inflicting Constitution ability damage, and if it absorbs enough it can spawn a new blood amniote.[1]
Despite being mindless, the faces of some of its victims occasionally forms in a blood amniote's mass due to the mental imprints left behind.[2]
Descriptive Text
"It was maddening enough that our captain had orders to behead our dead where they fell. But it was far too much when the spilt blood that pooled at our feet reared up in a hulking congealed mass that bore the shifting and twisted faces of our dispatched comrades."
