Bloodhulks are massive and mindless undead creatures created by evil spellcasters to serve as bodyguards or other melee engines of destruction. Overstuffed with viscera and unholy liquids, these disgusting, swollen monstrosities are huge bags of hit points that attack via powerful, melee slams. However, they are particularly susceptible to slashing and piercing weapons. Three varieties of bloodhulk exist, listed in ascending order of size and toughness[1]:
Bloodhulks are created via vile rituals requiring the addition of the blood of innocent to the reanimated corpse.[2]

An example of all three of the bloodhulks were thought to have been presented to Azalin Rex by an outlander from Eberron named Clavius Kreel. According to the undead typology in Van Richten's Guide to the Walking Dead, bloodhulks qualify as Obedient Dead. Likely salient abilities include: Bending the Land, Berserk, Life Sense, Self-Destruct, and Verminous Host.[3]
