A Book of Keeping is a demonology tome that contains instructions on the conjuration and control of yugoloths. A few of these Books even list the true names of a few yugoloth individuals, to which uttering their names aloud will conjure them. A yugoloth that gains control over a Book of Keeping achieves power and status among his kind, able to utilize it as a mark and record of his persuasiveness and cunning^[1].
