A deva is a type of celestial and angel called to serve as messengers or agents of deities on the Prime Material Plane, Feywild, or Shadowfell. As such, they are immortal embodiments of Good but also have the power to disguise themselves in forms native to where they are sent. Devas also have the power to commune with their gods, raise the dead, and heal by touch.^[1]
