Taakat ("Strength") is a Rajian company which has found its niche among the various trading companies operating in Sri Raji. Taakat hires out armed guards to protect the trading companies from bandits, competitors, and other dangers of the Rajian jungles.^[1]

Taakat is based out of Pakat (but with a smaller office in Tvashtipur).^[1]

Jatayu Panda, the second-in-command of the East Rajian Trading Company, is the secret head of Taakat. He actively seeks to recruit the most formidable warriors from the Easties, thus weakening the Easties dominance over trade in western Sri Raji. Eventually Panda hopes to topple his despised brother-in-law Gopal Chaudhari.^[1]
