Cleansing Flames

A Chaotic Evil, Destroyer aspect sect of the Taiian religion in Conquista. The Cleansing Flames are presumably as old as the initial invasion of Conquista in its False History. It operates in both the northern and middle cantón, its priests masquerading as members of other sects while monitoring the faithful for 'blood disgrace', believing that interbreeding between the tribes of Conquista offends their goddess as she created them separately. Its mandate is the prevention of interbreeding among the tribes and the killing of any offspring that is born. If caught at murder, members of the sect usually confess, claiming that they are above mortal law.
