The Department of Arcane Sciences at the University of Dementlieu is led by Dean La Rue. Professors belonging to the department include Lord Balfour de Casteelle, who is a highly-placed members of the Fraternity of Shadows, and probably his wife Lady Cassilda de Casteelle, who is not a member of the Fraternity.
