Drakov (Chibiloft)

Drakov was the Chi-Folken counterpart of Vlad Drakov, created out of the Mists in 690 BC. In contrast to his human counterpart, Drakov was the Demilord of Falkovnia province.

Pre-740 BC

In the years leading up to the Grand Conjunction, it can be reasonably assumed that Drakov acted in lockstep with his human counterpart, slavishly imitating his every action no matter how little sense that made for a member of the Chi-Folken species.

Post-Great Upheaval

It can be reasonably assumed that one or several of the ancestral spirits appeared in Falkovnia province on the Night of Music, when Lupta danced on the plains of G'Henna province. The identity of the spirit(s) may not have been recorded for a very simple reason: the Spirit who came over Falkovnia way have been The Forgotten One.

Regardless what happened in Falkovnia province during the Night of Music, general opinion of Drakov and his reign did not improve afterward. It is unknown whether Drakov merely persevered in the evils of his template, or that his neighbours simply refused to forgive him for acts he had done while still forced to imitate the human Vlad Drakov. Alternatively, exposure to the Forgotten One (even if not consciously remembered) might have inspired Drakov to be as evil as he could be, and to persevere in repeating the crimes of the human Vlad Drakov.

In 750 BC, Borca, Darkon, Dementlieu, Mordent and Richemulot provinces banded together in a joint strike against Falkovnia province. The war was mercifully brief, ending in Falkovnia's complete defeat in 751 BC. Drakov, his male descendants and Talons were all executed by guilloutine, although his female descendants were allowed to live.

Post-Death

Drakov died raging at his executioner, his fate, and especially his military opponents, but he died defeated. Although he was not able to rest in his grave, his ghost is dominated more by self-pity than rage, denying it a great deal of power. It can be found haunting the now derelict Central Prison, which was abandoned after the Chi-Folken version of Gondegal became governor of Falkovnia province. Although the ghost has fully lost the powers it had as a living Demilord, it can still be quite vicious and makes good use of its terrain in attacking those who manage to anger it.
