Helga is an NPC from I6: Ravenloft and its remakes House of Strahd and Curse of Strahd. She is a vampire that resides in Castle Ravenloft and serves Strahd von Zarovich. She pretends to be a mere innocent child of a townsperson from the Village of Barovia and victim of Strahd's evil. In truth, she willingly embraced Strahd's evil. Helga begs player characters to help her escape, Helga turns on the player characters at a convenient moment or when commanded by Strahd.[1][2][3]
In Expedition to Castle Ravenloft
Helga does not appear in this remake of the classic Raveloft module.
In Curse of Strahd
In this remake of the classic Ravenloft module, Helga's full name is revealed to be Helga Ruvak. She is a vampire spawn rather than a full-powered vampire. She is the daughter of a bootmaker and carries a valuable necklace made of gold with a ruby pendant.[3] Otherwise, she is very similar to her earlier counterparts.
