First mentioned in the article "Little Horrors[1], Iluviei Vorans is one of the Loa or Spirits worshiped by the Chi-Folken of the domain of Madego.
In Chi-Folken mythology, Iluviei Vorans is the devourer of all things unclean. It is kin to scavengers and vermin that devour what is dead, it is the embodiment of entropy gnawing at the very world itself. In its positive aspect, however, it is a repository of wisdom and freedom; as it devours base matter, it consumes the memories of the dead and thus releases them to pass on into the afterlife. It is popular with those who dabble in Necromancy as it always knows where to find a corpse, and sets clear limits to the power of the undead.
Appearance
Iluviei Vorans has no true form of its own. It manifests in the maggots that feast on the buried dead, and it manifests in the jackals that tear into the unburied dead. When summoned, its voice is heard but its face is never seen.
Trivia
As the embodiment of entropy, Iluviei vorans may be the reason for the gradual decay of Grossvaterbaum.
