Lieri is the son of Fione Fisherwife and the brother of Myra. Myra was chosen by random lot from among the children of Talanka to be sacrificed to the House on Undral Hill. Fieri went in after her, and so the House claimed him as well.[1] Lieri is about to be transformed in a shadow by Alara Undral.[2]
