If Urik von Kharkov's troubled perceptions are to be believed, Malika was a Cormyrean outlander von Kharkov ran into while fleeing Darkon through the Misty Border into Valachan. She was murdered by von Kharkov shortly after they met as von Kharkov was taken over by "the Beast"- his feral, panther side. He relived the murder in his mind over a hundred times before he was reminded of Selena, whom looked just like her.
