According to the Book of Murderers by Magnus Wolfsbane, Master Gullsby White[1] was one of the victims of the serial killer known as the Tailor of Maykle. White's corpse was found in his workplace, his eyes, nose, and mouth all sewn shut as the killer did with his other victims. His torso and arms were marked by festering wounds, but suffocation was determined as the cause of death. Curiously, White had the words, "A stitch in time slays six" inscribed upon his chest.

White may have been a rival tailor for Master Eber Alloways. White and several other rivals of Alloways allegedly were involved in the plot to burn down Alloways shop and residence, an act that also resulted in the death of Alloways' daughters Petreka and Alsanea. Alloways was purportedly the Tailor of Maykle. murdering as retaliation for the murder of his daughters. However, a dearth of evidence dictated the case be dismissed, and Alloways is thought to have been living in Corvia at the time.

White formerly lived in Maykle.
