Mrs. Smythe

Mrs. Smythe (maiden name: unknown; first name:unknown) was the wife of Michael Smythe and the mother of Aleister Smythe.

Little is known of Mrs. Smythe, other than that she had a much more positive relationship with her son than her husband did, and that she was a devout worshiper of Hala, who passed her faith on to her only known son. It is not known whether she was a spellcaster of any kind, however.

Mrs. Smythe passed her faith on to Aleister, and may have been more receptive to his considering joining the church as a priest. Given that no mention is made of her trying to console her son after the death of his own child and the disappearance of his wife, Livia Hemlock, she was probably already deceased at the time.
