The Pahaadee Jangal ("Mountain Jungle") is a stretch of jungle running west and east along the length of the Yahasha Mountains of Sri Raji. South to north, it runs from the foothills up the slope until the vegetation peters out. The trees of the Pahaadee include both coniferous trees such as fir, spruce, and deodar and deciduous trees such as oak. Many of these varieties are not found elsewhere in Sri Raji.[1]
