Piriya

The Piriya were a semi-nomadic tribe which once lived in the environs of Muladi in Sri Raji. As Muladi expanded, encroaching upon Piriyan territory, many of the Piriya decided to abandon their nomadic ways and live in town. Others chose to remain nomadic and retreated deeper into the jungles. Eventually some of the city-dwelling Piriya eventually left Muladi and founded the village of Piriyaganj. At this point, the Piriya as a tribe no longer exists.
