The Room of Wild Magic (Area 40 of the map) in Castle Avernus heightens wild magics.[1]


Under 2nd Edition rules effective caster level receives +2 bonus and saving throws suffer a -2 penalty.[1]

Additionally, any spell cast in the room, without regard to school, has a 10% chance of causing a wild surge. Azalin detests this room, keeps it magically locked, and has no desire to confront enemies in it.[1]
