Session Road is a unique Pocket Domain in that much of its shape and character comes from the land it inserts itself into. Average natives of the land don't observe anything unusual about it; in fact, Session Road has the ability to insert itself into the history of the land it currently resides in. Session Road runs for about 4 miles, most of it with buildings on both sides of the road. Many of these are shops or other mercantile establishments. Such operations are monitored by various tax collectors and bureaucrats.[5]
No obvious political ruler dominates Session Road, but senior shopkeepers speak rumors of a "hidden baron" that watches and sees all that happens on the road.[2]
