The Stairs of Timea are a geological feature along Fagarus Way where the flatlands ascend into the foothills of the Kodru Mountains. They are a natural stone stair which has proven useful to travelers who use the individual steps as landings to pause during the steep upward climb.[1]
The Stairs of Timea are named after Princess Timea, wife of Prince Alexandru Mircea.[1]
