The Blessed Hall of Ashington

The Blessed Hall of Ashington was a hospice of Hala set up in Ashington Manor by Byron Ashington-Welles in order to reform the name of the Ashington Family. Over a the course of several years, Byron and his fellow witches provided aid and healing to innumerable injured and needy folk that passed by. However, the good done in the Blessed Hall concealed darkness within its walls. Gavel, the leader of the mercenaries hired for security, was a unknown to his employers a throughly evil man who raped one of Hala's clergy and then successfully covered it up. Soon thereafter, the inhabitants of the Blessed Hall fell victim to the Ashington Curse. Under the baleful influence of Maekon, Gavel and his closest subordinates went on a killing spree throughout the manor before turning on each other and Maekon ultimately destroyed the survivors of Gavel's cohorts. Ashington Manor once again became abandoned after this massacre- it would never again pass into Ashington hands
