The Feathered Hunter was a mummy hunted by Van Richten and his associates. It could change shape summon ant swarms, and rejuvenate until Van Richten's party destroyed the spirit objects that acted as foci for those powers. Once those were destroyed, it was easy for Van Richten and company to destroy the monster.[1]
