Created by Marquis Stezen d'Polarno at the time of her death, the portrait of Lady Annelise holds her life force and soul, granting her effective immortality but trapping her within the world of paintings. It is not known if destroying the painting would free her (allowing her to manifest in the world of the Living) or if it would cause her to pass on to the afterlife.
