Valachan is a forested domain in the southwest of the core. It is a long stretch of land, with a rugged terrain filled with crevices.
It borders to the east at Verbrek and Sithicus, and to the North to Mordent. Main features are the Arden river, and vcastle pantera, which resides on a cliff along the main road.

This map was created by combining the elevation info from Realm of Terror with the map in Domains of Dread.
Valachan was one of the domains most affected by the Grand Conjunction. The entire domain moves, shuffling villages around and changing the banks of the Arden river. Only Hazlan was more affected.
Only a few settlements of Valachan have been detailed, despite the fact that several adventures were written about it.
The Price of Revenge is a good reference to Ungrad. It details the environment as a cold, hardsh domain, and as such seems slightly deviating from the concept of a panther-filled domain. However, Ungrad lies in pretty high terrain, so it is not so strange to use a different (colder) climate for this part of the domain than for the rest.
