Arthur Mordred Nesmith (birth name Alan Tom Doolittle]] is an English mystic on Gothic Earth who serves the interest of a fiend named Alcanthana that has been bound in its phylactery for the past two millennia. He hopes to open the gates to Hell for reasons of bringing order into the world. While at Oxford University, Nesmith came upon an old Persian tome called The Book of Malevaous. After reading this tome, Nesmith concluded that demons were the bringers of chaos into the world. However, after finding an underground temple spoken of in the book, Nesmith found Acanthana's phylactery, and the fiend professed to share Nesmith's goals of eliminating chaos. Since then, Nesmith has been using his connections as chief librarian of an influential and powerful university to gather information on the occult.[1]
Professor Arthur Mordred Nesmith was created by Charles Phipps for the Book of Sorrows.
