Karl Ogbad lives in a stilted hut in the Glumpen Swamp. He tends a gravemound at the top of the Hillock of Black Flowers and tries to convince people to avoid going up there. The grave is protected by crawling claw swarms. These crawling claws captured various small animals for Karl in return for his services to the grave.
