Following the death of his master, Urik von Kharkov fled the Kargat and Darkon into the Misty Border. For several weeks, he wandered the Mists killing travelers and trying to avoid apparitions existing only in his head. Eventually, Von Kharkov emerged in a land he came to call Valachan.[1] The year was 625 BC.[2][3]
