History
In the ancient false history of Darkon, there were three unnamed children of a long-forgotten king whom ordered a smith to forge a great bell of bronze and silver, two metals unable to bind. The smith sacrificed the three children and used their blood to make the two metals bind together. Yet the malevolent act warped their spirits, binding them to the now Bell of Doom[1] and cursed it, such that every time the bell was rung.[2]
The Bell sat in an abandoned cathedral east of Nartok for many years, until Wort heard from Brinn that his means of revenge against the Nartok people would be there. Wort discovered the Bell of Doom and took it back to his old bell tower and rang it.
